The Betty Crocker Thing

I feel like I have to make another post about this, spread it around if you want I don’t mind.

I just sent the person responsible for the Betty Crocker thing a second ask requesting that they stop trying to get it to become a thing.

I was also just made aware that they sent submissions to more than one blog about it, and whatever other blog it was posted a screenshot of it, along with the date, times and phone number. I did that before on my personal, but deleted it after the incident started getting attention, I didn’t want anyone to actually consider participating.

Now that the date for the event is actually out and circulating, I’m kind of scared that people are actually going to consider participating. While I can’t control what you do with your free time, just know this:

What you’re doing is harassment. It is not a cute and fun thing, it is actually harassing people who have done absolutely nothing wrong and are just trying to get through their workday. They won’t know what a batterwitch is unless they actually read Homestuck. Even if they do read it though, I’m sure they won’t enjoy getting their phone lines flooded with people complaining about Batterwitch related nonsense. They have work to do, and they probably already get enough frustrating phone calls as it is.

Basically what I’m trying to say is: don’t fucking do it. pardon my language
